At Beachcomber Island, we’re proud to be part of an important Turtle Conservation Program dedicated to protecting and nurturing Fiji’s beloved sea turtles.
We care for baby turtles from as young as 3 weeks old, providing a safe and protected environment where they can grow strong and healthy. These little ones stay with us until they are about 3 years old, giving them the best chance of survival once released into the wild.
During their time with us, we monitor their health, ensure proper nutrition, and protect them from natural threats. Guests have the special opportunity to learn about our conservation efforts, meet the turtles, and even participate in educational feeding sessions – all part of our mission to protect these incredible creatures for generations to come.
