How do I say “hello” in Fijian?

You will be greeted by all locals with “Bula”! It’s a lively and welcoming expression that captures the spirit of Fiji. You can say “Bula” to greet someone in Fijian! It’s a warm and friendly way to say hello.

What time is check in and check out?

Check-in from 12:00 to 18:00 Check-out until 12:00

If you’d like to request an early or late check-in or check-out, you can make a special request when you book.

Note: Special requests can’t be guaranteed. If early or late check-in or check-out is essential to your travel plans, check the cancellation options before booking.

My flight gets in past midnight, will I still be able to check in?

Unfortunately, due to maritime regulations, we are unable to operate our boat services to the island after midnight. As a result, if you plan to arrive late, we kindly ask that you book accommodation on the mainland for your convenience.

Please make sure to join us at 9 AM for the scheduled boat transfer to the island, where your underwater adventure awaits!

How long does it take to get to Beachcomber island?

Beachcomber is one of the most popular destinations in Fiji. It is only a picturesque 45 minute cruise from Denarau Marina.

Are there cots available for my infant?

Cots for infants are available upon request, free of charge.

Is fishing allowed on the island?

Unfortunately, fishing is not permitted on the island. However, there are a number of fishing charters that are available for booking through Guest Relations if you would like to go fishing during your stay.

Are there towels available for guests at the pools?

Yes there are beach towels available at reception. 

Do you have wi-fi?

Yes we have guest wifi available through out the island.

Are there safes in the rooms?

There are safes available at reception.

Are there hairdryers in the rooms?

There are hair dryers available at reception.

Is there a tour desk on the island where I can book excursions during my stay?

Yes, you can book your excursions at reception with our friendly staff

How do we get to our rooms?

Our friendly staff will assist you with your luggage to your room and lead the way. You will also receive a map of the island to help you navigate.

Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?

Our island is a cash free island. Your closest currency exchange is located at Port Denarau 

What is the currency in Fiji?

Fijian dollar

How do you say "Thank you" in Fijian?

Vinka means thankyou in Fijian.

While we are fortunate to have a beautiful natural island with sandy beaches, we must unfortunately note that the terrain may not be ideal for guests with mobility impairments
